Hands on web application development with Wicket

Wicket is an excellent component based framework for developing web apps in Java. In this hands-on presentation you will get a chance to write a simple wicket application and look at some of the key features. Bring your laptop if you want to type and run code.

  • What is a component based framework and how are component based frameworks different than action based frameworks.
  • Differences between Wicket and JSF
  • Some of the key features of wicket

Adib holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo.
