    Hi Nicholas, welcome to the group!! Now that you've joined this Meetup Group, next step is to sign up for events that interest you, then actually go...
    Don't be worried about not fitting in or whether you will have a good time - you will be amazed at how friendly everyone is! Every event has newcomers like yourself.
    At dinner last night (Reef Restaurant) a new member, noticing all the active conversation, asked me "do all these people know each other?"- looked like it but most people didn't!!
