Wicket is an excellent component based framework for developing web
apps in Java. In this 2 hours presentation you will get a chance to write a couple of simple wickets applications, and look at some of the key features of wicket. The presentation is hands on so bring your laptop if you want to type and run code. Some of the key questions this presentation will answer are 1. What is wicket? 2. What is a component based framework and how are component based frameworks different than action based frameworks. 3. Differences between Wicket and JSF 4. Some of the key features of wicket Adib will also be able to answer and further questions about Wicket. Adib Saikali is the founder of Programming Mastery Inc. a software development consulting and training company.
