Hello all,

I recently found out about this group and wanted to join to see if there are other Wicket developers in the Vancouver area. I see there was a meet-up on this back in October which I am sorry I missed.

Currently I work as a Dev Mgr for a company based out of the bay area and we are working on a pretty cool project based on the Wicket framework. We were using JSF and became very frustrated with it and ended up throwing it out the window to find another approach. That's when we stumbled on Wicket and we haven't looked back.

Having worked on everything from asp, ColdFusion, .Net, and JSF I can say that Wicket is far and away the best platform I have come across for developing web based UI's.

Anyway, I just thought I would post a message in case there were others out there working with it.
